I know we are all past the tragic pandemic but let's take it back to the day a London gallery changed my life. There I was, working from home, day after day, week after week. The hours would drag on and yeah, I always had art to keep me going. Doing a doodle here and a scribble on my iPad to pass the time. But there was nothing really stimulating my brain, I scroll over tik-toks and meme pages. But then I got a link sent to me by a friend telling me all about these investment opportunities with 'The London Art Exchange'.
I investigated all these said 'opportunities' with some hesitance because for me, I like to explore art and consume it mentally it never occurred to me what it might be like to invest in it. I checked out all the featured artists discovered someone that really caught my eye, a street artist by the name of D-Wizz. I really liked his stuff it reminded me of mine, and he had this new age Banksy like quality to him. There I was scrolling through the well laid out gallery, and felt like I submerged myself in a cornucopia of beautiful art. I was instantly inspired! The website itself was filled with useful information and key points that are etched into my memory for example. I was flicking through their ebrochure that all filled with all kinds of intriguing stats and figures. Like the Over the last 20 years, Contemporary Art market sales have seen an increase by 600%. Contemporary Art has developed from being a minor percentage of the art market and now it is one of the most developed art sectors and another point (that made me feel good about the next decision I took)
54% of millennial art buyers said their interest in buying art online had increased as the art world switched to virtual sales.
I am on a well presented gallery, art work I'm definitely interested in what I noticed to be a bargain price for what it could be worth in a few years, you can bet your bottom dollar that I was sold!
I read through the FAQs, noticed they take credit card payments, and they are 100% backed payments, there was nothing stopping. 10 seconds later and few clicks I was the new proud owner of my very own D-Wizz original piece. It was such a simple step into fruitful future!
